Elephant Rescued In Kerala Immediately after Fall Into Perfectly, Cheered By Crowd

A wild elephant which strayed into a village in Kerala’s Ernakulam district and fell into an open very well was rescued by the forest officers this morning. A trench-like passage was dug to get the elephant out of the properly.

Visuals showed the elephant producing considerable exertion for the preliminary climb out as the locals clapped and cheered it on.

The incident took place in Pooyamkutty, around a reserve forest location. “The well was about 15 -20 ft deep. We applied a JCB to dig something like a trench, so the elephant could go out. The elephant returned to the forest and is getting monitored by a workforce,” stated Ravi Kumar, officer in-demand of the concerned Divisional Forest Place of work advised NDTV.

“The well was hardly 10-20 meters away from the street. The elephant after out, crossed the river and entered the forest,” he extra.

The anxious Forest Array Officer explained to NDTV that the rescue efforts have been virtually completed by 10 am this early morning.
