Ravensburg Police are searching for an escaped prisoner. Marcel Thieser, 35, is housed at the Center for Psychiatry South Württemberg, Weissnau. He went out on Saturday and did not return. The police is now pleading with the public for help.
Police Alert: Man is a Danger!
According to a joint press release by police and the Ravensburg Public Prosecutor’s Office, the wanted person “is believed to be dangerous to others and himself because of his utter rash behavior, especially when dealing with a fire.” In the past he lived in the Greater Lakes Constance area and spent nights there mainly outside and in vacant or little used buildings and basements. The wanted person must have been seen in Amatzel area on Monday. He should be able to travel on foot or by bike and only carry a small amount of cash with him.
Description of Marcel Thieser:
- 167 cm tall
- approx 75kg
- strong stature
- short dark blonde hair
- Probably wearing a black autumn jacket with burgundy red applications on the shoulders and chest area, as well as a dark red hood with white ribbons.
- dark sweatpants, possibly camouflage, possibly a dark red baseball cap
- Possibly neon colored shoes.
