The 73-point success is synonymous with the highest victory in the 75-year history of the North American Professional League. The previous record was held by the Cleveland Cavaliers, who recorded a breakthrough of 68 points (148:80) against the Miami Heat in December 1991.

Nine of the twelve Memphis players scored double-digit scores, with Jaren Jackson Jr. becoming the top scorer with 27 points.

Phoenix Suns set a new club record. With a 114:103 (69:51) home win against the Detroit Pistons, the Arizona team scored its 18th consecutive win—the longest streak in franchise history. The Sons had to do without their injured top scorer Devin Booker. The Sons caught it as a collective: Seven players scored double-digit scores.
