Horror on Christmas Eve: Walkers have found a decomposed body in the south of France. Investigators have now arrested the roommate of the murdered man.
After a decomposed body was found in southern France, investigators arrested the 31-year-old’s roommate as a suspected criminal. The man admitted he had killed the victim after a violent argument on Christmas Eve, reported the regional newspaper “La Depeche” on Monday, in reference to the public prosecutor.

Following the act in the joint residence, the now arrested 50-year-old man had his head and forearm beheaded to make the body disappear easily.

Passers-by discovered the mutilated body. Rescuers discovered the dead man’s head in a plastic bag a few hundred meters away on Christmas morning.

They also found severed forearms a short distance from the body on a country road in Albias. They found puncture wounds in the chest of the victim. It is not yet known what the dispute was about. (VD/DPA)
