Led by Rheinmetall Canada, Lockheed Martin Canada, Rheinmetall Electronics and Lockheed Martin Training and Logistics Solutions have formed a consortium to build five simulation centers for the Canadian Armed Forces’ Land Vehicle Crew Training System (LVCTS) under the name FORC3 . As announced by Rheinmetall, the consortium has secured national capacity to build and operate five modern LVCTS simulation centers across the country in collaboration with seven Canadian companies.

The company said the proposed simulation centers would generate realistic synthetic environments that would replicate future operational environments on the ground. Canadian forces are designed to be trained in how and where they will fight, facing virtual opponents while facing a wide range of hybrid, conventional and emerging threats.

Purpose-built simulation center training at individual, crew, platoon and higher levels using high-fidelity, medium-reality reconfigurable and off-the-shelf training seats combined with a robust virtual environment and comprehensive learning system enables the.
