The province’s test positivity rate increased slightly to 10.6%, which is the same rate as Winnipeg.

There are 4,489 active cases and 18,518 reported recoveries. Both numbers are overstated due to a backlog in reporting the latter.

Meanwhile, 346 people were hospitalized as of Thursday morning, a number that includes both active and non-infectious cases. Of that, 41 of those patients were in intensive care.

Laboratory testing numbers show 2,163 tests were completed Wednesday, bringing the total number of lab tests completed since early February to 411,618.

The province will not be updated COVID-19 numbers on Christmas Day or Boxing Day. The next update is slated for Dec. 27.
