Investing.com – Canada shares were higher after closing on Friday, and higher in profit.

It was up 0.51% during trading in Toronto.

Present season’s best performance First quantum minerals ltd (TSX :), which rose 10.61% or 2.78 points to close at 28.98. Magna International Inc (TSX 🙂 meanwhile added 10.17% or 9.73 points to end at 105.43. Hudbe Minerals Inc (TSX 🙂 was up 9.04% or 0.85 points to trade at 10.25 points.

Worst performance of the season Richie Brothers Auctioneers Inc (TSX :), which fell 7.47% or 5.41 points to end at 66.98 in late trade. Oceangold Corp (TSX 🙂 closed down 6.59% or 0.135 points at 1.915. Capital Power Corporation (TSX 🙂 fell 3.61% or 1.35 points to 36.04.

Advancing the forward stock from 598 to 441 and ended unchanged on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Gold futures for April delivery rose 0.17%, or $ 2.95, to $ 1,777.95 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.92%, or $ 1.16, to $ 59.36 per barrel, while April Brent Oil contract fell 1.50% or $ 0.96 to trade at $ 62, 97 per barrel.

CAD / USD was up 0.48% to 0.7923 while CAD / EUR was up 0.31% at 0.6542.

US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 90.395.
