With a diameter of only 16.4 mm and a depth of 6 mm, hollow-shaft conductive plastic potentiometers from Megatron to MHP16 series also fit in very tight locations.

Because the diameter of the shaft is just 2 mm, the MHP16 is suitable for use as an angle sensor on robotic arms and as a position response in motor valves or actuators.

Conductive plastic potentiometers provide an electrically effective angle of rotation of 320 ° (° 5 °), a mechanical angle of 360 ° and nearly infinite resolution with approximately 2% independent linearity. High quality multi-finger stainless steel grinder guarantees a stable analog output signal.

Through the flattened hub in the hollow shaft, the potentiometer can be mounted directly on the drive shaft so that they do not rotate, a coupling is not required.

The IP40 component is designed for temperatures from -40 to +105 ° C.

If series production is required, Megatron can adapt the potentiometer upon request – viz. B. Independent linearity or special tolerances of customer-specific housings, with special angles of rotation and resistance values.
