Front singer Till Lindemann’s band Rumstein announced new dates for the coming year on Wednesday. It was then re-planned for Leipzig, where six musicians are to play on May 20 and 21, 2022. “In view of the lack of planning security for the implementation of incidents of this magnitude, the move is unavoidable,” the Ramstein website stated as a justification. “The band and everyone involved are very disappointed.”

Part of the tour was already pushed back to 2021 last year. Due to ongoing event bans and restrictions regarding the Kovid-19, the band are unfortunately forced to postpone their tour of the stadium. Nevertheless, Lindemann & Co. also offered a chance so that they could at least hope for new songs. “The band uses free time to work on new songs,” members of Ramstein said.

Ramstein lives: Leipzig, Berlin, Stuttgart, Hamburg and Düsseldorf

Apart from minor changes, the show in Belfast was canceled without change. Tickets remain valid for mass selling tour. In addition to Leipzig, concerts are planned in Germany in Berlin (4/5/6/2022), Stuttgart (10/11/6), Hamburg (14/15/6) and Düsseldorf (18/19/6). In total, the band has now set 26 concerts in Europe. In North America, ten performances in Canada, USA and Mexico are planned from August to October this year.

During the first half of the tour last year, more than 30 fans visited 30 shows in Germany with ten of them on fire and impressive lighting effects. Moscow’s Central Dynamo Stadium alone attracted 80,000 people.
