Pyros, smelly fingers and a punch in the face: Volley Amriswils Thomas Zass has seen a lot when she leaves after the playoff final

The final dance of a Tyrolian begins, with the NRSA final starting at 2.30pm on Saturday in Amrisville. Amriswil’s top scorer Thomas Zas finished after a career-best 5 series. The Austrian played volleyball at the highest level for 13 years. Now a 31-year-old awaits a new life in Canada.

Thomas Zaas shaped the face of Volley Emarisville for three years.

Nowhere did Thomas Zais volley last longer than Emerisville. The 31-year-old Austrian has had a decisive impact on the Thurgau NLA club’s game in the last three years – and thus on Swiss volleyball as well. In its first season, the Diagonal Raiders were named the most valuable player in the Swiss Cup, and the most valuable player in the NLA in 2019/20. Now Thomas Jas is attacking for the last time. Chaneyos, who arrived in Saturday’s final of this year’s playoffs, sealed the end of their 13-year career. After the 5 best series against Geneva, Zas moves to Canada to start a new life with his wife Brianna Bemisch.
