Reto Indergand ranked 18th in Canada

After the cancellation of Linda Indergand and Fabio Puntner, whose Solothurn team canceled the World Cup in Canada, Reto Indergand was once the only representative of Uri Mountain Bike World Cup riders in Canada.

The short-track race at Mont Saint-Anne in Canada was on the event calendar for the first time and immediately gained the title of short-track with the shortest time interval. This fact was also confirmed by Reto Indergand of Uri, who finished 18th just 16 seconds behind the winner Filippo Colombo of Switzerland. Indergand ran the third best and once the fastest lap time.

In torrential rain, Sunday’s cross-country race turned into a real slide, and there were real “wait times” in the narrow route, which also affected Indergund. Still, it was enough for a good 31st place in the final. “Now this is the third of four races that had to be completed in the rain. Now that should be enough,” said the “drenched” Uri biker after a rainy day. The trip to Canada was a patchy end for Reto Indergand, progressing to 24th place overall in the current World Cup year.
