The defamation suit against his ex Amber Heard didn’t hurt Johnny Depp. As an advertising medium, it seems that they have now been rehabilitated. A big luxury brand equips the 59-year-old with highly remunerative contracts.

The court case against his ex Amber Heard may not end for Johnny Depp because of the appeals process. The career curve for the star has recently moved upward – as an actor and musician. And as an advertising character, the mime has clearly become a big deal. According to a post by the company on Instagram, Depp is the face of a new campaign by luxury brand Dior and its fragrance Sauvage.

The American site “TMZ” already wants to know more details about the deal. The star can look forward to a multi-year collaboration, which is said to bring a seven-digit amount to his account. Depp has been promoting perfumes since 2015, despite serious allegations from his ex-wife that the collaboration did not end prematurely – and now it has been extended.

In addition to a commitment to Dior, Depp will probably have to deal with less beautiful things for a while. Because when the US media unanimously reported that Heard was appealing the verdict in the defamation suit, it became known shortly after that Depp would also take the same step.

An unnamed source close to the actor said: “If Ms. Heard is determined to pursue the trial by appealing the decision, Mr. Depp will appeal at the same time to ensure that the complete file and all relevant legal issues will go to the Court of Appeal. . to be considered.” Before that, Hurd had already failed with an application to overturn the decision.
