Lulu Sun's captivating performance in Canada

WTA Granby – Young Swiss tennis player Lulu Sun (WTA 355) lost 4:6 and 2:6 to French world number 81 Diane Parry in the first round of the WTA Tournament in Granby, Canada.

Vaude’s 21-year-old, who made her WTA tournament main draw for the first time in her career in a preparatory tournament for the US Open in Quebec, put up a good fight against her 19-year-old rival to break deficit twice in the first set. But the daughter of a Croatian and a Chinese was no longer able to react to the third loss of service.

The start of the second set completely failed him. The Suns had not won a single point when Parry made it 4–0. Although she was able to make a break and came down to 2:4 in the following two games, only four rallies went in her favor, enabling Perry to use up her second match point after an hour and a half.

Despite the loss, Lulu Sun has improved compared to his first appearance at a WTA event. In May, she slipped into the main draw in Rabat thanks to a wildcard, but won only three games against Arantxa Rus of the Netherlands in the first round of the tournament in Morocco.
