Helsinki Germany’s group rival Canada also won the second game at the Ice Hockey World Championships in Finland. The record world champions beat Italy 6–1. In Group B, Norway defeated Great Britain.
Defending champions Canada secured their second win in the second game at the Ice Hockey World Championships in Finland after early problems. The record world champions, who beat Germany 5-3 in the beginning, beat Italy 6-1 (1-1, 3-0, 2-0) in Helsinki on Sunday.
