Investing.com – Canadian stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, and at lower prices.

It was down 1.38% at the end of business in Toronto.

Best performance of the season in submission MEG Energy Corp (TSX :), which rose 6.12% or 0.42 points to close at 7.22. Mullen Group Limited (TSX 🙂 Meanwhile added 5.02% or 0.52 points to end at 10.88. Almos Gold Inc. (TSX 🙂 was up 3.47% or 0.32 points to close at 9.55.

Worst performance of the season Kinaxis Inc (TSX :), which fell 17.30% or 28.22 points to close at 134.94 points. Lightspeed pos Inc (TSX 🙂 was down 12.29% or 10.51 points to close at 75.03. Aphria Inc (TSX 🙂 fell 9.21% or 2.120 points to 20.890.

The falling shares carried 841 to 253 and 88 unchanged shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

MEG Energy Corp (TSX 🙂 shares hit a 52-week high; Rose 6.18% or 0.42 to 7.22.

The one that measures the inherent volatility of the S & P / TSX options was unchanged at 0% at 11.27.

Gold futures for April delivery were up 1.28%, or 21.90 to $ 1,693.90 per troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude for April delivery rose 4.10%, or $ 2.51, to $ 63.79 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract rose 4.07%, or $ 2.61, to $ 66.68 a barrel.

CAD / USD was down 0.02% to 0.7900, while CAD / EUR rose 0.73% to 0.6596.

The US dollar index futures was up 0.70% at 91.578.
