Current weather forecast for Racing in Canada

(Motorsport-Total.com) – There are very important questions on every Formula 1 race weekend in 2022. Namely: What is the weather forecast? Can wet roads be expected at the site? Do you need intermediate or rain tires as well? Or is it consistently dry and dry tires enough to qualify for the race from practice? In short: Sebastian Vettel and drivers around Mick Schumacher, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton will have to be prepared for what?

The result is a weather forecast that is as accurate as possible for the respective Grand Prix of the 2022 Formula 1 season. All information is subject to change, after all, some motorsport venues such as Spa-Francorchamps or the Nürburgring are known to have particularly variable weather, which cannot always be accurately predicted. After sun on Friday and rain on Saturday, the next change in weather will fall on Formula 1 drivers on Sunday: the sun is coming back, and with it warmer temperatures. Race time in Montreal is expected to be up to 19°C and with the lightest clouds. The chance of rain is zero percent.

However, Montreal again has fairly strong winds: they come mostly from the north-northwest and thus cause a headwind in the first half of the loop, and turn a tailwind into a crosswind in the second half. Drivers have to beware of sudden gusts of wind, especially when braking, as they can reach speeds of up to 50 km/h. On average, winds reach a good speed of 25 km / h.
