Exclusive paintwork: Alaska paints ice hockey octopus on Boeing 737 MAX

Seattle recently got a team in the National Hockey League again. Home Airline Alaska Airlines is immortalizing this ice hockey success on a Boeing 737 MAX.

notes

Alaska Airlines

Boeing 737 MAX 9 with registration N915AK: Honor of the Seattle Kraken.

Along with Canada, Finland, the Czech Republic, Russia, and Sweden, they belong to the Big Six, the largest six nation in ice hockey. However, not all major cities in the United States – even if they are in colder climates – were well represented in the Games. While Boston, Detroit, and New York have had a team in the National Hockey League for nearly a hundred years, Seattle hasn’t since 1975.

This did not change until 2018, when they were founded in Seattle Kraken. Alaska Airlines is now awarding the team a special paint job. The Boeing 737 MAX 9 shows a partially obscured Kraken logo with the registration number N915AK. Seattle is the main hub of the airline. By the way, fans of the Seattle Kraken enjoy priority boarding on flights from Seattle-Tacoma International and Paine Field—provided they wear the team’s jersey.
