F1 22 shows the first VR gameplay in Canada

F1 22 supports VR headsets for the first time on PC this year and now developer Codemasters brings you the first gameplay.

In the new gameplay video you can get a taste of the VR perspective and see the track in Canada where the next race will take place on Sunday.

In the video you can see a lap from the perspective of Lance Stroll in his Aston Martin AMR22.

“VR has revolutionized F1 22 on PC and takes racing weekend to a whole new level,” said Lee Mather, F1 Senior Creative Director at Codemasters. “From the claustrophobia in the cockpit to the intensity of the start with 20 cars racing toward the first corner. This is as close to Formula 1 as you can get without being on the actual circuit.”

F1 22 will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on July 1, 2022.

If you purchase the Champions Edition of the racing game, you can start playing three days in advance.
