France concludes submarine disaster and turns to Indonesia

After disappointment over broken submarine deal Australia wants to France Relations with Indonesia. Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian signed a “plan of action for a stronger partnership” with his Indonesian colleague Retno Marsudi in Jakarta on Wednesday. This specifically includes defense and a maritime dialogue, Le Drian told reporters.

Indonesia Has been in talks with France for several months to buy 36 Rafale aircraft and is also interested in submarines and other weapons.
