USA celebrated a 6–1 win over Martinique in the Gold Cup on the day of the second Group B match.

Daryl Dyke scored in the 14th minute at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City. Samuel Camille (23) secured a 2-0 lead with his own goal before the break. Miles Robinson (50th) went 3-0 up before Dyke netted a second time nine minutes later. Emmanuel Rivire converted the penalty 4–1 in the 64th minute. Gyasi Jardes (70th) and Nicolas Gioacchini (90th) got the final scores.

Earlier, Canada won a turbulent game with a 4-1 win against Haiti. In the 5th minute, Stefan Eustacio converted a direct free kick and cheered the Canadians on for the first time. Syl Larin (51st) took the lead 2-0 immediately after the break.

Exactly five minutes later, Stephen Lambes cut short 1:2 and gave hope to the islanders. But after several missed chances, Larin (74th) takes a penalty for the early decision. François Dullis saw the red in the 78th minute, and Junior Hoillet (79th) leveled the resulting penalty at 4–1.

Canada leads the table thanks to 8 goals scored ahead of the United States, who have 6 points and a goal difference of +6, but have scored one less goal. Both the teams have already qualified for the quarter-finals and there will be a straight fight for the first place on Sunday.
