Indian shooter Heena Sidhu lauds government move to ban TikTok

Two-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist Heena Sidhu on Tuesday hailed the banning of the video clip-sharing social networking application TikTok. It was a person of the 59 Chinese applications that the Indian government banned on Monday because of to stability considerations.

“I’m so satisfied that tiktok is long gone. With the dislike videos and animal abuse movies that I have been coming across getting posted on tiktok… I am so joyful. Web will be a happier area without the need of tiktok!!!” Sidhu tweeted on Tuesday.

“It can be not gone still but I hope the govt follows via. The obligation lies with the developers for allowing these types of information to turn into not just obvious but viral. Until they adjust their norms for content material uploading this application should not have a put in our lives,” the Indian Olympian stated.

The federal government on Monday banned 59 Chinese apps about national safety worries as India-China bilateral relations remain strained immediately after the loss of life of 20 Indian troopers in the Galwan Valley clash with Chinese PLA troops in japanese Ladakh.

Other Chinese apps in the banned record are Club Manufacturing unit, SHAREit, Likee, Mi Online video Connect with (Xiaomi), Weibo, Baidu, Bigo Dwell and other folks.

TikTok on Tuesday stated it is in the approach of complying with the Indian government order to ban 59 Chinese applications, such as TikTok, and is not sharing any information of Indian end users with the Chinese govt.
