Not only did Aksel Rink look after the City Wall Museum, but he also promoted the city he joined with Markham. Now he has passed away at the age of 101.

Many people knew him, and those who knew him will not forget him – but no one knew him completely: Axel Rink died last Sunday at St Vinzenge Nursing Home in Nördlingen. He would have turned 101 in October. A life came to an end that was remarkable in many ways.
