Swedish developer Grand Pike, with support from Arctic Game Lab, is pleased to announce the release of its game Spelldust, which will be released worldwide for iOS and Android phones in the second half of June. In April, the game had a soft launch in some regions, which allowed developers early access to a community that had garnered a lot of backlash. Much of this feedback will now be used for further improvements when it is released to the rest of the world on June 22.
Spelldust is a real-time wizard-themed strategy game. Players compete in exciting PvP duels with pre-selected magic cards in a mix of Hearthstone and Clash Royale. Spelldust uses a combination of card mechanics and the classic card game, but is played in a mobile-friendly real-time format.
“We are very pleased with the launch of Spelldust and we are excited to show the world what we have been working on over the years,” said Grand Pike CEO Daniel Ohgren. “We built Spelldust for gamers and we want to engage our players so they can help us improve the game in the future.”
