Sometime in 2022, the new Canadian series The Imperfects is set to premiere on Netflix. Its teaser trailer has already been released. In it, the format is referred to as a story of ensuing wrath.
It’s about this: Three twenty-somethings are turned into demons against their will by evil scientists. Now they hunt down the responsible maniac in the hope that he will find a cure for the side effect. In addition to being persecuted by the government, they also have to worry about college applications, their love lives, and random mutations. The usual drama that comes with government units containing monsters and tanks.
Featuring Italia Ricci (Designated Survivor), Inaki Godoy (One Piece), Morgan Taylor Campbell (Zoe’s Extraordinary Playlist), Rianna Jagpal (Homeland: Fort Salem) and Rhys Nicholson.
The showrunner is Dennis Heaton (“fido“, Order). Creatives from Fargo and Van Helsing are also included.
