About 100 hikers have embarked on the 4.8 kilometer route, which is now called “Schwind-Veg” after the initiator and lead designer Joachim Schwind. Within a year, Schwind had put 750 hours of volunteer work into the project. He created texts, designed caricatures and discussed setting up 27 boards with the owners of the land, which would allow future hikers to see the history of the place. Nicole leads the way from List’s second home, Alte Schmeide and Beuthentech, to the former village prison near the playing field, via Raum, Pfulurtich and the master’s workshop.
