Regardless of or because of the family closeness that linked the two: Mai married Andreas Ferber (39), son of Berg’s husband Uli Ferber (62), five years earlier. Andrea is Vanessa’s step-mother-in-law.
Andreas was also Andreas Berg’s manager for four years. Additional personal connections resulted in conflict that led to a professional separation in the autumn of 2018.

Berg’s management confirms to BILD: “Andrea and Vanessa are duet on the new album “I’ll Do It Again”, which will be released on July 29.
