Paul Heyman begins the show backstage and says that “SmackDown” is blessed with Roman Reigns’ presence and fans will have a chance to pay tribute to him.

This goes to Ronda Rousey, who says that Sonya Deville has abused her power for too long and reminds her that “SmackDown” is much more than the name of the show.

Sonya Deville gives a short backstage promo where she talks about her power to the party.

The Viking Raiders will also hold a short backstage promo. They talk about challenging The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Titles. Jimmy and Jay Uso are also doing a short promo.

Ricochet says Sami Zayn will not be called Intercontinental Champion after tonight’s show. Sami Zayn has also spoken. He explains that Ricochet will find out why they call him the master strategist and greatest IC champion in history.

Now commentators Michael Cole and Pat McPhee welcome us to the TODAY Show, as the first match of the evening is on schedule.

We watch clips of Vince McMahon’s appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. He announced that he would induct The Undertaker into the Hall of Fame and offered McAfee a match at WrestleMania 38.

Backstage, Sami Zayn throws a tantrum as Johnny Knoxville follows him. At WrestleMania 38, Zayn challenged Knoxville to a match.

Now we look at Austin Theory, who describes himself as the protagonist of Vince McMahon. Wherever Mr. McMahon goes, Austin Theory goes too. Once in the ring, Theory wonders why McMahon appeared on McAfee’s show. McMahon knows that McAfee is a loudmouth and everyone wants him to be quiet. Theory goes to the announce table and announces that he is Pat McAfee’s opponent at WrestleMania 38! After these words, Theory knocks down the McAfee headphones. Theory then backs off, while an enraged McAfee yells at him to come back.

Sasha Banks and Naomi talk about competing for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 38. But today Naomi will face Carmella in a singles match. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match for the second day of “Mania” has been confirmed.

– Queen Zelina tried to intervene on behalf of Carmella, but was stopped by Sasha Banks.

While Naomi and Sasha Banks celebrate the win, we see Natalya backstage who is clearly watching it all closely.

Backstage, “Happy” Corbin and Madcap Moss are playing poker with a group of people. Corbin says Drew McIntyre is one hell of an opponent at WrestleMania 38. However, he also reveals that he won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and defeated Kurt Angle at WrestleMania.

After the match, Kayla Braxton interviews McIntyre. She asks Scott if he feels bad that Corbin and Moss are enjoying it at his expense. McIntyre replies that he doesn’t care about her, no one does. McIntyre challenges the audience to show with his hands that Corbyn wants to take his eyes off the screen when he is on screen. McIntyre also asked Braxton to raise his hand. McIntyre explains that while Corbin is undefeated as Happy Corbin, he will knock him out at WrestleMania.

Back in the poker room, Madcap Moss tells another bad joke. Meanwhile, Corbin stares at the TV screen mesmerized.

“Monday Night Raw” includes a statement from Edge after his attack on AJ Styles and a 3-way tag team match for the Raw Tag Team Championship between Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens, RK-Bro and Alpha Academy.

Rick Boogs now comes on stage to play the Shinsuke Nakamura theme. However, both were attacked by the Usos and were knocked out with a super kick.

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman then enter the hall. Doing a few poses in the ring, then Rains takes the floor. He says both he and Brock Lesnar will defend their titles at Madison Square Garden. He will crush every opponent, as he has done in the last year and a half. Lesnar’s title defense is where things get interesting. Not all of us want Lesnar to defend his title or make it to WrestleMania. However, Reigns wants Lesnar to make it to WrestleMania and then hand him the WWE Championship there. Reigns asks Heyman about the spell he is using. Heyman says that this is not a prediction but a spoiler. Reigns asks Heyman if he should spoil Miami and the world. At WrestleMania 38, the biggest main event of all time, he wants to crush Brock Lesnar. He would pin Brock Lesnar and stand on top of him. He would hoist both titles over his head in a nearly five million dollar fireworks display and then Lesnar would have to accept it.

The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jay Uso) defended the title against The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Eric) via pin on Eric.

Big E and Kofi Kingston are now in the ring like Sheamus and Rich Holland. Sheamus and Big E should clash, but Holland knocks Kingston down a chair before “attacking” the Big E ATV with a chair. Meanwhile, Sheamus works on Big E, before the heels kick the ATV out of the hall. Backstage, they then destroy the ATV with hammers.

Johnny Knoxville is interviewed backstage by Kayla Braxton. Knoxville says the only reason he’s showing up here is to remind Sami Zayn that he’s the Intercontinental Champion. He has exposed his body to more crazy things than Zayn can’t even imagine. If Zayn thinks he’s too scared to face her at WrestleMania 38, he’s wrong. Knoxville accepts the challenge!

Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss are now playing darts in their poker room. Corbin is about to take out the darts when McIntyre sticks his sword into the dartboard, causing the ankles to run away.

Michael Cole announces Big E and Kofi Kingston vs Sheamus and Ridge Holland and Sasha Banks vs Queen Zelina matches for next week’s SmackDown.

Charlotte Flair joined the commentators for the main event.

Ronda Rousey defeated Sonya Deville via submission to the armbar.

After the match, Ronda Rousey challenged Charlotte Flair to the ring. The SmackDown Women’s Champion complies and soon finds herself in an ankle lock. Flair tapped out before the show ended.
