The show begins with commentators Kevin Patrick and Byron Saxton welcoming us to tonight’s edition of the WWE Main Event from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Then the first match of the evening begins. Before the first match we see a clip of Mustafa Ali. Last week he tried to replace the likes of Shelton Benjamin, but was defeated. This week he wants to do better.
Mustafa Ali defeated Akira Tozawa via submission at Half Crab.

The first recap of the evening shows us the opener of Friday Night SmackDown. At first it looked like Sami Zayn would have to leave Bloodline, but Sami Zayn remains an honorary user and now wears his own T-shirt.
It’s time for the backstage segment. R-Truth is in intense conversation with Little Jimmy. Shelton Benjamin asked him about his age and Truth replied, “I’m 25 dogs”. The Gold Standard lists some of his achievements that are far more significant than the 24/7 rule of truth. R-Truth tries to quote his idol, John Cena, at this point, but he says “You can’t feel me”. Both are in our main event today and Benjamin had a little trouble staying in character.
On the last edition of Monday Night Raw, Bianca Belair managed to win against Io Skye.
On Friday, The Usos (Jay Uso and Jimmy Uso) were able to defend their Tag Team Titles again. This time against the Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland and Butch).
R-Truth defeated Shelton Benjamin by pinfall in the small package.

The match started with a fair handshake.
– At the end of the match, Mustafa Ali’s music played, which distracted Benjamin and started the end. before It was a very long squash match.
Ali then tries to explain himself, but Benjamin doesn’t want to hear about it.
Last Monday evening, Sami Zayn managed to win against AJ Styles thanks to Solo Sikova. Styles was then able to attend Judgment Day, he refused and was beaten up for doing so.
That same evening, Matt Riddle won against Damien Priest. On Damien Priest’s ensuing attack, Edge made a save on the return.
