England and German football players have met nine times in major tournaments – the German team won the final of the European Championship in 2009, but suffered a recent defeat.

The German national team played a total of 27 international matches against the “Lioness”. Records: 21 wins, four draws, two losses. There were nine doubles at the European and World Championships, seven of which were won by DFB women – with 6:2 in the 2009 EM final.
2015: Lost for third place in World Cup match
