Traditionally, the World Cup kick-off takes place at Rettenbachferner in Sölden on October. The purpose of this opening date is not only to get tough fans in the mood for the winter, but also to remind them that the time has come to look for new equipment. After Beijing, Tremmel has placed another slalom ahead of him in Kranjska Gora (Slovenia).
