“I’ve never been more proud to be Ukrainian than I am today,” actress Mila Kunis, 38, said in a video posted online on Thursday.
Kunis was born in 1983 in western Ukraine and moved with her parents to Los Angeles when she was seven years old. Along with Ashton Kutcher (44), he started a fundraiser to help people in his country.
Target: $300 million. The Hollywood couple themselves want to contribute 30 lakhs.
Kunis in the video appeal: “Ukrainians are a proud and brave people who deserve our help in their time of need. This unjust attack on Ukraine and humanity in general is devastating and the people of Ukraine need our support.
About 15 million had already come together as of Friday evening (local time). In addition to Kunis and Kutcher’s three million, two anonymous donors contributed $2.5 million each.
