Canada: Pizza Pizza launches plant-based chicken in over 400 stores

Pizza PizzaAnnounces Partnership with Pizza 73, a Toronto-based QSR chain that operates across Canada and whose subsidiaries include Pizza 73 light life , which is part of Greenleaf Foods, the vegetable arm of the meat giant Maple Leaf.

Pizza Pizza Lightlife will offer plant-based chicken as a permanent menu item, which includes the following:

  • Plant Based Chicken Sandwich – Available in Classic or Spicy versions, topped with cucumber and vegetarian mayonnaise.
  • Plant Based Chicken Bites – Available in a choice of 10 or 20 pieces
  • plant based combo box – With 16 chicken bites and two other products of your choice, including french fries, potato wedges, onion rings or sweet potato fries, and two vegetarian dips.

The new menus are available in more than 400 pizza restaurants from British Columbia to Nova Scotia, coast to coast, and can be ordered or delivered for pickup.
