Investing.com – Canadian shares were higher after the close on Monday, and higher in profit.

It rose 0.44% at the end of business in Toronto and hit a new all-time high.

Best performance of the season in submission Shaw Communications Income B (TSX :), which rose 40.92% or 9.78 points to close at 33.68. Aphria Inc (TSX 🙂 Meanwhile added 11.79% or 2.940 points to end at 27.780. Cameco Corp (TSX 🙂 rose 7.35% or 1.58 points to close at 23.09 points during trading.

Worst performance of the season Trillium Therapeutics Inc (TSX :), which fell 6.96% or 1.04 points to close at 13.90. Seven Generation Energy Ltd (TSX 🙂 was down 5.41% or 0.50 points to close at 8.75. ARC Resources Limited (TSX 🙂 was down 5.41% or 0.46 points to 8.04.

Shares falling from 656 to 449 carried forward and 80 remained unchanged on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Gold futures for April delivery rose 0.48%, or $ 8.20, to 1,728.00 troy ounces. Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.58%, or $ 0.38, to $ 65.23 a barrel in the commodities business, while the May Brent oil contract fell 0.71%, or $ 0.49, to $ 68, 73 a barrel.

CAD / USD was down 0.07% to 0.8011 while CAD / EUR rose 0.19% to 0.6720.

US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 91.870.
