Sony kicks off PS Plus games early for August! • Eurogamer.de

There are arena fights, tennis and zombies

PS Plus games are usually announced on the Playstation blog with little fanfare, but this time Sony apparently leaked the titles ahead of time for August. Three upcoming titles were listed on the website ahead of a big unveiling and are Arena Fights, Zombies and Tennis.

Distant third of august Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Tennis World Tour 2 and Hunters Arena: Legends will be available through PS Plus subscriptions starting August 3. This was indicated by an entry on the Playstation page.

Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a shooter offshoot of the 2019 series that began with the famous Tower Defense Front Garden battle between the undead and the Plants. The whole thing was developed by PopCap Games and published by EA.

Hunters Arena: Legends is one of the titles, but exclusive to PS5

If you want things to be less bizarre and more civilized, you can use Tennis World Tour 2 on the virtual playing field to compete against some world players. The sports simulation from Big Ant Studios and Nakon didn’t necessarily receive a lot of positive reviews for its 2020 release, the game clearly lacked fine-tuning – but it doesn’t hurt to try it out as part of a subscription .

Third, there is Hunter Arena: Legends, a fantasy battle royale previously only available for PC. However, on August 3, it will also be available on PlayStation and PS Plus subscriptions. Not a huge surprise, as Sony already announced it. However, this multiplayer title is only included in the Playstation 5 subscription.

Well, last month’s PS Plus games with A Plague Tale: Innocence, WWE 2K Battlegrounds and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 were probably a little more productive, but who knows: You’ll be looking forward to these three titles in August? In any case, Sony isn’t delivering as big a hit in August as Hunter Arena: Legend does on consoles, but that remains to be seen.
