Best performance of the season in Render stelco Holdings Inc. (TSX: ), which closed up 8.42%, or 2.70 points, at 34.76. Tech Resources Ltd. B (TSX:), meanwhile, ended at 42.38, adding 2.62% or 1.08 points. Hadabe Minerals Inc (TSX:) was up 2.01%, or 0.11 points, at 5.58 in late trading.
The worst performer of the session was Canopy Growth Corp (TSX: ), which fell 7.09%, or 0.28 points, to settle at 3.67. nuwei Corp (TSX:) fell 6.86%, or 2.78 points, to end at 37.74. Dye & Durham Ltd (TSX:) was down 6.51%, or 0.84 points, at 12.06.
Shares declined on the Toronto Stock Exchange from 819 to 210 and 84.

The implied S&P/TSX options measure, was down 3.63% at 22.58.
December delivery futures were up 0.24%, or 4.00 to $1.00 per troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, oil for delivery in November rose 0.53%, or $0.44, to $83.38 a barrel, while November futures contracts rose 0.49%, or 0.44, to $90.27 a barrel.
0.15% was unchanged at 0.74 while 0.10% remained unchanged at 0.75.
Futures were up 0.66% at 111.07.
