Investing.com – Canadian stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in a range of , and Propelled shares extended higher.

It added about 0.30% in Toronto and hit a 3-month high.

Best performance of the season in Gaya Chorus Entertainment Inc (TSX:), which was trading at 2.40, up about 5.73% or 0.13 points. Associated Properties REIT (TSX:) meanwhile added 2.91% or 0.76 points to end at 26.90. Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT (TSX: ) was up 2.65%, or 0.27 points, at 10.46 in late trading.

worst performance of the season Wesdom Gold Mines Limited (TSX:), which closed at 9.59, down 3.52% or 0.35 points. Badger Infrastructure Solutions Ltd. (TSX:) fell 1.75%, or 0.52 points, to close at 29.27. Cargojet Inc (TSX:) is down 1.71%, or 2.37 points, at 136.22.

Advancing shares ended 298 and 110 higher on the Toronto Stock Exchange from 679.

Gold futures for December delivery were up 0.54%, or $9.50 to $1.00 per troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, oil WTI for delivery in January rose 0.03%, or 0.02, to $77.96 a barrel, while the January Brent oil futures contract fell 0.35%, or 0.30, to trade at $85.11 a barrel.

CAD/USD was unchanged at 0.15% to 0.75, while CAD/EUR was unchanged at 0.04% to 0.72.

US dollar index futures were down 0.19% at 105.77.
