Investing.com – Canadian stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, and at lower prices.

Down 0.51% at the end of business in Toronto.

Present season’s best performance Thomson Reuters Corp (TSX :), which rose 10.63% or 10.76 points to close at 112.02. Uniform Group Inc (TSX 🙂 meanwhile ended at 132.21 adding 6.56% or 8.14 points. Enerplus Corp (TSX 🙂 was up 3.70% or 0.23 points to trade at 6.44.

Worst performance of the season Lightspeed pos Inc (TSX :), which fell 7.76% or 7.95 points to end at 94.49 in late trade. Trillium Therapeutics Inc (TSX 🙂 was down 7.71% or 1.25 points to close at 14.96. Aphria Inc (TSX 🙂 was down 7.10% or 1.730 points at 22.640.

The falling shares did not outpace the 715 to 336 and unchanged shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Equitable Group Inc. (TSX 🙂 Shares hit all-time highs; Getting 6.56% or 8.14 to 132.21. Shares in Enerplus Corp (TSX 🙂 hit a 52-week high; Added 3.70% or 0.23 to 6.44.

The one that measures the implied volatility of the S&P / TSX options was unchanged at 0% at 11.27.

Gold futures for April delivery fell 0.28%, or $ 5.05, to 1,803.35 troy ounces. Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.02%, or $ 0.01, to $ 61.69 a barrel in the commodities business, while the May Brent oil contract rose 0.28%, or $ 0.18, to $ 64, 54 a barrel.

CAD / USD rose 0.15% to 0.7937 while CAD / EUR rose 0.16% to 0.6530.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 90.093.
