(Motorsport-Total.com) – There are very important questions on every Formula 1 race weekend in 2022. Namely: What is the weather forecast? Can wet roads be expected at the site? Do you need intermediate or rain tires as well? Or is it consistently dry and dry tires enough to qualify for the race from practice? In short: Sebastian Vettel and drivers around Mick Schumacher, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton will have to be prepared for what?

Current forecast for the ninth race of the season in Montreal (June 17 to June 19):

Friday to Saturday Night Permanent rainfall is announced, and there is a chance of frequent rain throughout the day. This means that both the third free practice session and qualifying are likely to take place in wet conditions. The temperature also drops and remains between twelve and 15 °C.

During qualifying, the wind comes from the north-west direction and reaches 52 km/h at its peak. So drivers hit the wind in the opposite direction as well as on the main straight – not ideal at all.

race sunday Weekend should be the best day. The clouds have dispersed leaving the stage for the sun.

The temperature is still only between 17 and 19 °C – so this must be the coldest Grand Prix of the season so far. On Friday, the wind comes mostly from the north and “only” reaches 42 km/h at its peak.
