The Gold Cup, the unofficial championship of the national football teams of North and Central America and the Caribbean, is heading towards the final of its dreams.
After Mexico made the semi-finals on Saturday, the USA would follow on Sunday (local time). A late header from Schalke striker Matthew Hope in the 83rd minute helped the American boys beat Jamaica 1-0 and now face Qatar.
Mexico’s rivals in the semi-finals are Canada, who beat Costa Rica 2–0.
