Which country performs best in sports? Traditionally, the medal table provides information about this. All podium places in the participating countries are listed and compared in the table. The sorting is based on the number of gold, silver and bronze medals. Germany is one of the most successful countries in the Olympic Winter Games. After the reunification, the German athlete took first place in the national ranking four times.
