Just like the big supermarkets now have all the big online shops where you can buy almost all the everyday stuff. This purchase should now be safe.
The German Food and Feed Code will adapt to EU law that came into force on 1 September, resulting in some changes. Monitoring of online trading of perishable food, cosmetics and other consumer goods is to be improved.
So far, groceries have been a significant problem when shopping online. Often the products could not be adequately detected. There were also major difficulties with product recalls. Thanks to the new regulation, for better consumer protection, this should now be a thing of the past.
For this reason, from September 1, information on traceability of products must be sent to the authorities within 24 hours.
