NHL: Edmonton Oils and Colorado Avalanche win

Toronto –

A decisive goal in extra-time helped ice hockey star Leon Dreiszeit play a major role in the Edmonton Oilers’ 3–2 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Drassitel played when Darnell Nurse timed 17 seconds after beginning a penalty pass for the third goal against the Canada Division leaders in the NHL. “We will take the points with us, but there is still work to be done in our game. There are still 20 games left, we still have a lot of work to do, ”coach Dave Tippit said after the ninth and final duel between the two teams in the main round.

National goalkeeper Philippe Grubauer also won with his team. Against the Anaheim Duck, Colorado Avalanche scored 5–2 and were strong on the defensive again – Grubauer’s goal came with just 15 shots. For Rosenheim it was the 100th win in the NHL.

On the other hand, the Buffalo Sabers around national player Tobias Ridder, a 3–0 lead after the second third, was not enough to end their series of defeats. The Philadelphia Flyers equalized and then reduced the game to 4: 3 in extra time. The Sabers are now 18 games in a row without a win, with the Pittsburgh Penguins having to wait a long time in the National Hockey League in the 2003/2004 season. Rieder’s first assist this season was very short.
