Superstar Neymar hopes to win the World Cup in Qatar. “This is what we’re striving for, and I believe we have what it takes to fight for the title,” said the 30-year-old Brazilian on Magenta TV’s “Best Filling” show.

“I always like to win, always fight to win because to be honest I don’t like to learn from losing.” Neymar has set a goal: “I’ll play like it’s my last game.”

At the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States, the winger will be 34. “Ever since I was little, I’ve always said that I have to give everything in every game as if it were the last thing in my life,” Neymar said.

Neymar on Klopp: “He’s one of the greatest”

The Paris Saint-Germain striker has a lot of praise for Jurgen Klopp. The German coach, who has been separated from Liverpool FC since 2015, won the Champions League and the English Championship with the “Reds”.

Klopp has been voted World Club Coach of the Year twice. “I think he’s one of the greatest,” Neymar said. “Everybody has something that can be improved, that can be developed. I’m sure a coach like Klopp can bring out the best of every player.”

Brazilians Roberto Firmino, Fabinho, Alisson and Spanish-Brazilian midfield strategist Thiago Alcantara play for Liverpool FC. “I asked the Brazilian players about him, they talk very well about the manager,” Neymar said. “I consider him one of the best coaches in the world.”

Riots broke out after a football match in Zagreb on Saturday. According to police, fans blocked traffic and attacked officers. Police officials gave official information after firing about two dozen rounds. 35 people including four people were injured in the shooting.
