Rainbow Six: Ubisoft cancels Canada division

Vereinigung Kanada USA babt

As Six Invitational 2021 draws to a close, the Rainbow Six Seas esports scene stabilizes. Meanwhile, players from individual regions enjoy the remaining days of their competitive break. Not surprisingly, some processes are still in the background. This includes making decisions that affect the development of Rainbow Six. Ubisoft announced one of these decisions through a statement published on January 5, 2021 on the social network.

The statement said the Canadian division, which had previously played separately – was originally intended to grow the talent pool in the North – and the United States would be merged into a single North American division. The purpose of this merger is to ensure that all North American players operate at the highest level of competition.

The Challenger League is also united

The association hopes to have a positive impact on the development of the Canadian and American Rainbow Six communities. The letter also states that the Canadian and US Challenger leagues will also unite and continue to be played online.

Ubisoft thanked the community for the support and loyalty expressed in 2020 at the end of the report, before they promised changes and information to be made for the year 2021. We will hear about this announced news, for which no exact date has been set at the end of February. There will probably be a big presentation in this regard at the end of six invitations 2021.

We are keen and will inform you as soon as detailed information is available!
