Richard Lugner has skin cancer

A doctor found a suspicious spot on Richard Lugner’s face. Now the result of the tissue sample gives an 88-year-old certainty: it is skin cancer. Ex-Baulöwe will have to operate. Nevertheless, he remains optimistic.

This is not a good year for Richard Lugner. Not only did he have to do it again without his beloved opera ball, health problems are also increasing. After bleeding from the intestine, who hospitalized her, a noticeable spot was discovered above her eyebrow. The ex-producer has now clarified by a doctor. And test results show that it is skin cancer.

“When a tissue sample was examined from my forehead sent by Dr. Warsegg, it was found that it was basaloma cancer,” Richard Lugner said in an interview with the Austrian newspaper “Krone”. “This cancer develops on parts of the body that are exposed to the sun, such as the forehead, nose, or ear.”

Operation already on saturday

But there is also a reason for hope for Viennese, as he further states: “This cancer is stable and rarely creates metastasis.” Because the cancer can grow larger over time, the affected cells should be removed as soon as possible. Richard Lugner wants to undergo an operation by next Saturday morning.

Pathological cell changes were discovered only by a happy coincidence. Lugner and his ex-wife Christina “Mausi” Lugner went to the beauty doctor to take a botox injection. Then the surgeon noticed the scar on his forehead. It is not known whether Lugner had a Botox treatment.
