As announced by our editorial team a few weeks ago, defender Mario Zimmerman is moving from the EV Landshoot to the Strobing Tigers. The left-hander, who was born in Altting, learned to play ice hockey at EHC Waldkrieberg and came to EV Landshoot through the offspring of Starbulls Rosenheim, with whom he was able to celebrate the league championship in 2019. The 20-year-old can also look back in 44 international matches wearing a DEB jersey. Zimmerman received the jersey number 13 in the Straubing Tigers. “I am really looking forward to the DEL ice hockey challenge and I want to earn my place in the team through good performances and hard work. Due to Landshoot and proximity to my hometown, I feel that Strobing is for me now. This is the ideal place to take action, ”Zimmerman says of his move to the Tigers.
