Haiti: Armed gang kidnaps Catholic priests and nuns

In Haiti Five Catholic clergy and two nuns are kidnapped by a gang. A spokesman for Haiti’s bishops’ conference said the pastor was kidnapped in Croix-des-Bouquets Parish. They really wanted to participate in the appointment of a new pastor. A priest and a nun are French.

According to media reports, the kidnappers are seeking a ransom of one million dollars, which is equivalent to about 840,000 euros.
