Of course, we didn’t have the start we wanted. Kudos to Iserlohan, who got off to a really good start. We didn’t really move our feet and gave them too much time and space. But I liked that we were calm. In the second third we were going. We got tough for the puck, took our time and space and started combining. When we were down 2–0 we talked about being a team that has scored a ton of goals this season. We had forty minutes left to do this and people just went to work. We then missed a great chance to make it 5–2 and took a penalty, and the Earlhorse came back just before the siren. But people just clung to their line and we fought till the end. Of course, Ryan McKiran’s goal gave us a little pillow. It was a tough fight against good opponents. Now we are going to enjoy it for an hour and then prepare for our next opponent.
