In response to last week’s Russian attack on Ukraine, Reuters reports subsequent efforts by Australia, Canada and Japan to help Ukrainians resist a Russian invasion.
The Australian government announced on Monday that it would provide lethal military equipment to Ukraine.
Canada’s two largest media companies are removing Russia’s state-run TV broadcaster RT from their currency pair.
In addition, Canada will send an additional $25 million worth of military defense equipment to Ukraine, Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie said.
Meanwhile, Japan’s Prime Minister Kishida said he should act quickly to confiscate Russian assets.
