Because Steroids Scared Bodies: Bodybuilder Shows Ulcers as a Preventative – Most competitive athletes should know that taking steroids is not a healthy idea. One bodybuilder had to stay at home for nine months due to addiction. Reason: His body was covered with wounds which discolored his skin as well as causing excruciating pain. Now the online fitness trainer is warning other bodybuilders to stay away from the stuff.
Dave Hartrey is 24 years old and comes from Waterford, Ireland. After two particularly severe outbreaks of ulcers, he is desperately searching for doctors who can help him. His back is now covered in so-called keloid scars, as are his chest and arms. Such scars appear as markedly enlarged scar tissue, which may be pink, intense red, skin tone, or generally darker than the rest of the body.
Dave Hartrey verbatim
“I’ve always been a big believer in fitness and have been exercising since I was 15. I started training with a bodybuilder when I was 20. I enjoyed training with him so much that I also decided to do bodybuilding. But then the story took an unhealthy turn: “When you go to the gym, make progress, people accuse you of taking steroids, and since bodybuilding is a short career, I decided to test them.”
Bodybuilder warns: “It’s really important to mention that with steroids you are taking a risk right from the start, because when you take testosterone the body may not produce the same amount naturally afterwards, not to mention other risks I met a guy at my gym who I would advise against because it could mean anything!
Besides the ulcer, Dave faced another problem:
Two severe outbreaks of acne on the face. Added to this was another eruption of ulcers when she decided to stop taking steroids. As he explains in an article on LADbible: “The first breakout on my back happened in mid 2020, and that was after I reduced the amount I was taking. A lot of people have asked me why I didn’t quit after the first outbreak, but I was working towards a bodybuilding show that I had already worked hard for years.”
So, in February 2021, more ulcers erupted in fits. He explains that he now had captured her back and torso, arms and face, explaining: “Right then I was invited to train with some of the top bodybuilders and it was a huge hit for me! However, at that point I realized I had neglected every other part of my life and my back There were blisters. Because of the pressure everyday life puts on me, they burst and I am in a lot of pain.”
He finally had enough, he stopped taking steroids
This resulted in further stress, which he himself described as “the worst he has ever seen”. He remained locked in the house for nine months. Now he is waiting for medical consultation appointments to treat the scar with laser or injections. He also wants to help keep other people off steroids through appearances and statements. In addition to cysts, risks include decreased sperm count, infertility, shrinking testicles, hair loss, erectile dysfunction, unwanted breast growth, an increased risk of developing prostate cancer, as well as severe acne and abdominal pain.
